During the January 9, 2005 flight could not balance the EG&amp;G instrument at altitude (-60 C) using the fine adjustment on the front of the instrument.

Cause

First time the EG&amp;G instrument was balanced since we replace the mirrow and had the electronics fixed. The course adjustment was not set correctly.</description>

Chilled mirror can become dirty after a flight.

 October 14, 2010 --- Cleaned mirror per instruction manual. You will need a small screwdriver to open the sensor up to access the mirror. Pay attention to the washer inside of the sensor screw on nut. Sensor head serial number = 1776</description>
