Liquid File System

Sharing Files that can't be attached to emails

Log into LiquidFiles UND's system.

After you log in as yourself (david.delene), you will choose File Requests from top menu bar, click the New File Request button, and put in the email address of the individual that you need files from. You can also include a subject and message that will be sent as an email to that email address, and click Request File. They will receive an email with a link, and the link with automatically put them into the SendFiles system (they will not need to “log in” to SendFiles, it is a one-time link. Here they will upload the documents that they wish to send you. Once that upload is completed, you will receive an email with a link to download those uploads from SendFiles.

As a side note, in the SendFiles system under your Preferences (Gear Icon at upper right), Account Settings, you can navigate to the “Personal Filedrop” section. If you have someone or a group of people that need to send you files on a regular basis that are either large or not part of the NDUS system, you can give them the link listed in the Personal Filedrop area for your account. This is a static address that they can send files to, and you will be notified by email when a new file arrives. One important positive of this system is that it supports larger file sizes (10 GB limit per message as per FAQ).
