Cannot connect to probe during ground test.
Probe IP address in the 2D-S Data Collection software was set to the wrong address.
In 2D-S Data Collection software, on the top menu click on 'Tools', then 'Set Probe IP Address'. Change the IP address to the current probe IP address.
During the 2DS test flight and again on the ground test following the flight, only one of the probe tip heaters would turn on when the probe tip temperatures fell below the set point.
Figure showing the time series data of 2DS probe tip temperatures during the ground test on March 6, 2011. X-axis is the time in seconds from the start of file, y-axis is the probe tip temperature in degrees Celsius. The dark blue line is the horizontal transmit (Hz TX) probe tip temperature, the green line is the horizontal receive (Hz RX) probe tip temperature, the red line is the vertical transmit (Vt TX) probe tip temperature, and the light blue line is the vertical receive (Vt RX) probe tip temperature.
The J2 connector inside the 2DS probe, located on the bottom of the probe, was not seated correctly.
With Sara Lance and Mark Severance's (both from SPEC) guidance, it was found that one of the connectors (J2) was not seated properly. The connector was pulled completely out and was reseated. After this, a continuity test between the back of the J2 connector and the fuses right beside it was completed. All fuses passed the continuity test. The probe was reinstalled in the wingtip can and a ground test was performed. All 4 probe tip heaters responded appropriately.
This figure shows the probe tip temperatures during the March 7, 2014 ground test of the 2DS after the J2 connector was reseated. The temperature set points before 300 s were 25 degrees Celsius and the temperature set points after 300 s were 27 degrees Celsius.

During Calibration flight on 01/10/23, it was observed that the 2DS had stuck bits in particularly in the horizontal channel low voltages were observed for the horizontal 127 diode and 42 diode. Pressure decreased from 15 psi to 10 psi during flight.
