  * First test of pitot tube with tube fan. Pitot mount bent, producing incorrect readings. Looked into counterweight solutions. Will check with Dr. Delene for dense materials.

  * TIMMS - Received finished mounting hardware and attached camera box to tripod. This was surprisingly stubborn, which caused me to rework the design twice while installing. Began with simple two angle iron mount with two bolts, but found this caused lateral tipping. Tried again with a U-bolt. Worked better but still tilted. Finally, used washers and an extra piece of angle iron to minimize lateral tipping. While it is mostly parallel to the ground, there is a slight dip of a few degrees. Set tripod base with nuts and bolts. Rewired anemometer and relative temperature and humidity sensor to minimize amount of cord. Ideally, I could've done less but I wanted to be careful not to cut the cords too short. Extra cord returned to the closet. Ground sharp edges of angle iron mount, as I received a few minor cuts in the mounting process and this will be displayed. May work on the edges again, but as of right now it is not a priority. One more hole is needed in the camera box for the fluxgate compass and the HDMI cable.

Rewrote append code with same formatting code as writefile.py, changing the writing method to appending. After writing append code, continued to work on getting writefile to work to figure out how to test appendfile. Made progress, but ran into issues with self.create_format_arr not being an attribute of str. Beginning to think the problem is the output of TIMMS00400. Did some research, I believe that the output of TIMMS is not applicable for this method, as it outputs strings and not a list, dictionary, or file. As I am unable to access other instruments right now, I will be looking into the anemometer manual to make a list of everything I need to update the configuration.
