+ | Bryce R. Rickbeil: It was found out that the CDP laser is not functioning properly which was most likely caused by the water that got into the instrument during its operation outside. This is planned to eventually get fixed and redeployed but as for now there will be no fog data from the instrument. | ||

+ | Bryce R. Rickbeil: It was noticed when collecting data that there were counts coming in during a clear air day in which there should have been little to none bin counts being collected. So I was informed by Dr. Delene that this can be caused by the viewing windows on the CDP being partially covered and thus reading particles that don't exist. The solution to this issue is to clean the viewing windows to allow for an unobstructed laser beam to then count in actual particles present through the CDP. | ||
