+Bryce R. Rickbeil: It was noticed when collecting data that there were counts coming in during a clear air day in which there should have been little to none bin counts being collected. So I was informed by Dr. Delene that this can be caused by the viewing windows on the CDP being partially covered and thus reading particles that don't exist. The solution to this issue is to clean the viewing windows to allow for an unobstructed laser beam to then count in actual particles present through the CDP.

+Bryce R. Rickbeil: The wires going to the power relays from the raspberry pi should be set up as follows. The positive to the CDP instrument relay should be on pin 15 and the ground on any of the available ground options. Then the positive going to the relay to control the blower fans should be on pin 11 with the ground again being on any available option. The way to know which pins are grounds would be by going to this link and using this as reference to everything stated above. https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/introduction-to-the-raspberry-pi-gpio-and-physical-computing/gpio-pins-overview
